APPOINTMENTS

It is not usually necessary to see a doctor or other health professional before seeing a physiotherapist. The exception to this is if you are covered under insurance (such as worker’s compensation/ third party motor vehicle) or you are entitled to use medicare. In this case you will need a referal from your treating doctor.

For your first appointment, please arrive early so you can fill out the patient information and injury pre-assessment forms.

Initial assessments are 45 minutes and standard consultations are usually 30 minutes but can go longer, if your condition is complex. For multiple joint or unrelated problems, please ask for an extended consultation to allow adequate time to assess and treat both conditions. We are not a practice that beileves in treating multiple patients at the same time so you can expect to be given one on one attention.
